DRINKS: Cardamom Iced Cappuccino

Although the temperature outside barely drops below 28 degrees at the moment and the daily jump into the pool is vital rather than “just for fun”, I am dreaming about those autumn flavours, endless reading in a book, whilst the rain is banging against a window. I mean the reality in Autumn looks more like food shopping, washing, cleaning, studying for exams or not touching a book, which is not dedicated to university for months, but just sit here and dream about those perfect Autumn days.

Just imagine a day in bed with Netflix, nothing to do, coffee or tea, a good book and rain outside. Unfortunately, at the moment the thought about a blanket makes me sweat even more (I just don’t get the love of some people for the temperature), and we did not have a day full of rain for a long time now (Please come back rain!), but what I have on a daily basis is an iced coffee and although I cannot (unfortunately) influence the temperature and weather, what I can influence is the flavour of my iced coffee.

And as the rebel I am (haha), I had my iced coffee with cardamom infused milk and cinnamon on top and it was so delicious that I had to share it with all of you. So all of you that have enough of Summer can be rebels with me! Cheers to Autumn!

Here is what you need for two people to get the Autumn vibes in your coffee:

x 8-10 cubes of ice
x 150 ml milk
x 2 tsp. grounded cardamom
x 200ml fresh coffee
x a pich of cinnamon

First, take two glasses or cups and put the ice cubs in both of them. Pour the coffee equally on top of the ice cubes. Then put the milk and cardamom in a milk frother and froth until you have a nice cappuccino froth. All you have to do now is add some milk and the froth to both glasses. Lastly, put some cinnamon on top. If you like, you can also add some crumbs of brown sugar onto the milk froth. Enjoy with a nice book!
