When I spent one month in Ireland with my best friend, I ate the whole month “Apple Crumble” at least three times a week. For breakfast, lunch and dinner! I have to admit that we had to cook for ourselves and it was the easiest thing to do. When scrolling through Pinterest I saw several recipes for a so-called “Breakfast Crumble” and I became very curious. It may not be the healthiest breakfast in the world, but it is very delicious and filling and also very easy to take with you to university or work.
You will need:
- 250g berries
- half a mango
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 150g oats
- 100g grounded almonds
- a splash of maple syrup
Preheat your oven to 190C°. Put the berries and mango in a small tin. Mix all the other ingredients to make the crumbles, put them on top of the berries and bake for 20-25 min. Enjoy with a good cup of coffee or tea!
