RECIPE: The Best Triple Chocolate Cookies

Long time no recipe (very unusual for me I have to say…), but I am back with some delicious goodies fresh out of the oven. In fact I am back with the best triple chocolate cookies you will ever come across. I just bloody love them so much! And you know the best thing? I have a little trick for you, which will get you those delicious cookies in just 15 minutes. Because, lets be honest, who doesn´t want a freshly baked chocolate cookie when it´s raining outside, with a lovely cup of tea and a good book right next to you? Also if you are not sure about if you should make them, think about your friends and neighbours who might come around this day! You have to be nice and have something to offer to them, trust me they will invite you to their next barbecue! So let´s get out the whisk!

You will need for 12 cookies

  • 200g butter OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
  • 1 egg
  • 220g sugar
  • 275g flour
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • a dash of milk
  • 200g White chocolate
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 100g milk chocolate
  • 75g cocoa powder

Preheat your oven  to 200 degrees celsius. Cream together your butter and sugar. Crack in your egg. Stir in all the dry ingredients. Add a dash of milk if your mixture is looking dry.

Break up all of your chocolate and throw it in, using your hands to get it into the dough. Line 2 trays with baking paper the cookies will spread in the oven so don’t place them close together. Pick up a 12 small handfuls of cookie dough and place them onto your trays

Pop them into the oven for 11 minutes. When you get them out they will not look cookedbut you have to be confident, as it will be very tempting to leave them in for longer and then they’ll be overcooked. Just take your cookies out after 11 minutes and leave them to cool for about 30 minutes. They will cook a little further, so don´t worry they are not going to be underdone.

The Cookie hack: Make the cookie dough as described above, roll your cookie dough balls, place them on a baking tray and place them in the freezer. Once they are frozen you can put them in a plastic bag. Whenever you want to have freshly baked cookies, you just have to take as much balls as you want out of the freezer, wack them in the oven (200C°), wait a little bit and enjoy those lovely treats.
