Where to eat in London

The last five days I spent in London with all the girls of my family as a mini vacation since we did not go on holiday this year. We wandered through the City, shopped, enjoyed and of course ate. It was so so nice and Relaxing. I took 500 pictures so I thought I start a Little series and the first part of it is that I introduce you to the restaurants and cafés we discovered. I am going to Show you two of every type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea/snacks)

Let´s start with breakfast

1.Ottolenghi: I knew Yotam Ottolenghi for a Long time. I have several cookbooks and I watch his cook program but the Moment I walked into his Café/shop I was impressed all over again. We went there for Breakfast and it was absolut amazing. I had Quinoa muesli with some fresh mango and pistachios and a cappuchino. And we also shared an almond Croissant which was incredible. I really hghly recommand Ottolenghi if you are friend of some oriental flavours and a bit of a twist of the “normal” things.

2.Fabrique: We lived in Notting Hill, near Portobello Road where we spent a lot of time. One morning we had breakfast in a place called “Fabrique” which looked very cool from outside. And it did not look only good from outside, it was inside aswell. You can get some amazing pastries and sandwiches and some really nice yoghurts aswell. It is originally a bakery so you can easily grab something for on the go if you are in a rush.

2.Lunch:

1.Jamie,s Italian: Trust me you have to go there. I think this was by far my most favourite meal on our whole trip. I love Jamie Oliver so much and I think he is brilliant and so is his food. His Italian Food was better than some I had in Italy furthermore his Food is something you will never find anything else. Just so good!

3.Dinner:

1.Pizzaeast: Their pizza is incredible. I had one with mushrooms, pesto, rucola, and some other things. It was really good. Exspecially my little sister (8 years old) loved it because she got some pencils and paper which she could take home.

2.The Duke of Wellington: The best English Food I have ever tasted. So good. They have a pie of the day which looked incredible, we had fish and chips which were amazing and I had a cauliflower Steak with harissa and vegetable which was amazing too. And the best thing definatly was the potato and pea mash!

4. Snacks:

1.Fernandez & Wells: This is the perfect spot to snack something between shopping at Oxford Street. It is on a little side road so you can really relax from all the stress on Oxford Street. They have incredible sandwiches with different nice ingredients.

2.Crumbs and Doilies: Last but definatly not least: Are you up for the best cupcakes in the world? You will find them at Crumbs and Doilies. They really have the best cupcakes I have ever eaten! Exspecially the Halloween Cupcake were outstanding!
