Since I saw the Christmas department at IKEA, the only thing I want to do is to shop Christmas stuff. My Pinterest profile looks like a Winter Wonderland and I have say, I bloody looovvveeee it so much. Yes I am one of those annoying human beings, that would celebrate Christmas from the 1st of September till the 24th of December. Light all the candles in my flat and just listen to my Christmas playlist all day long. I just love the whole spirit of it. The best thing for me is giving presents to other people, thats just the most lovely thing in the world. Also one thing I absolutley like when it comes to Christmas are all the flavours and spices. When I was a little child my da was one of those people who bought gingerbread and spicy Christmas cookies as soon as they were in stores (which is like mid August or something like that). He used to have a cupboard over our fridge, where he stored all these cookies and when he was at work, this was the favourite cupboard of all the kids (can you guess?).
Today I am going to mix two of my favourite childhood memories. The spicy Christmas cookies and the white hot chocolate. As children we used to get them at Starbucks when we were away with the whole family.
For 200ml childhood memory you will need:
- 200ml milk
- 1/2 tsp Spicy Christmas Cookie Spice
- 1/2 tsp extra cinnamon
- 25g white chocolate or white chocolate cocoa powder
- some cream and some spicy Christmas cookies for decoration
1. Put the milk and the white chocolate in a bowl and heat it up until the chocolate is melted. Add the spicy Christmas cookie spice and stir it in.
2.Put the hot chocolate in your favourite mug and put some cream on top, decorate with the cinnamon and a spicy Christmas cookie. Enjoy with some online Christmas shopping.
